Migos star Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, has been arrested on Friday (20 July) for alleged possession of a firearm and drugs.
The rapper was initially pulled over for changing lanes in his vehicle according to TMZ.
Just 12 days ago, the musician and his wife, Cardi B, welcomed their daughter, Kulture Kiara Cephus, into the world.
Billboard has reached out to law enforcement officials around Atlanta and Offset’s reps for comment. The Atlanta Police Department could not confirm his arrest.
The rapper, 26, has been charged with four crimes– possession of firearm by felon, possession of one ounce or less of marijuana, possession of weapon during a crime and an improper lane change. This is not the first time that the rapper has violated his probation for a 2015 drugs and weapons charge. In March 2016, he was arrested and spent the night in jail for having a suspended license.
