Mel B Entering Rehab to Treat PTSD, Alcohol & Sex Addiction

Former Spice Girl Mel B revealed she is checking herself into rehab to treat her alcohol and sex addictions after an ‘incredibly difficult’ six months amid her divorce from ex-husband Stephen Belafonte.
The 43 years old “America Got Talent” judge release a statement with The Sun on Monday talking about her reason and explain her resoning behind getting help following her divorce and her fathers death.
“I am working on being a better version of myself for my kids ― whom I love more than life itself and for all the people who have supported me”, said Mel B after explaining her stress.
“I am being very honest about drinking to numb my pain but that is just a way a lot of people mask what is really going on,” she told the tabloid. “Sometimes it is too hard to cope with all the emotions I feel. But the problem has never been about sex or alcohol it is underneath all that”.
The host also explain her experience working on her memoir “Brutally Honest” which has been “unbelievably traumatic” reliving an emotionally abusive relationship and confronting so many massive issues in her life.
The stunning host will be checking into a rehab clinic in the UK sometime next month but even as she is at a low point, Mel B wants the world to know it’s OK to address and openly talk about such issues, seek proper help, and find a light at the end of what seems like an endless tunnel.
She shared, “I am speaking about this because this is a huge issue for so many people. I am still struggling but if I can shine a light on the issue of pain, PTSD and the things men and women do to mask it, I will”.
The pop star-turned TV host says she wants to get better for not only her own sake but for her daughters, “I love my three girls more than life itself. I have also made the decision to go into a proper therapy programme in the next few weeks, but it has to be in the UK because I am very, very British and I know that will work best for me,” she explained.
