A 30s year old man was shot in the leg dead in Liverpool city center on Thursday evening and the investigator are investigating the incident.
Nearby people called the Emergency services at Holy Cross Close around 8pm reporting that a man has been fired. On arrival to the spot, authorities found the man dead.
Merseyside Police informed the man’s family but the formal identification is not done yet. The police informed that a home Post Mortem will take place.
“The investigation into this incident is in its very early stages and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have information which could help us establish the full circumstances and find those responsible,” saying this DCI Martin Earl added,
“You may have seen or heard suspicious behavior in the area of Holy Cross Close and any information, no matter how small, could prove crucial as we seek to establish what happened and bring those responsible to justice.”
Investigators are keeping a receptive outlook with regards to the thought process of the assault as scientific examinations proceed and checked the CCTV from the related area.
“Those responsible for this incident are in their very early stages and are not responsible. You may have seen or heard suspicious behavior in the area of Holy Cross Close and any information, no matter how small, could prove to be crucial. The issue itself, or who has any information about it to please get in contact,” said DCI Martin Earl.
