It initiated a change that was freeing on both a physical and emotional level. The overwhelming comment from people made them so confident. UrBody

Urbody Functional Fashion is dedicated to promoting gender freedom, self-love, and individual expression. They think one should be able to dress confidently for the day, and it all starts with what’s underneath. Trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming people now have more alternatives thanks to the underwear and activewear company Urbody. They build gender-inclusive collections that take into account the fit and styling requirements of people of all gender identities using their own, in-house developed sizing and grading system. When Mere and Anna founded their business, they were shocked by the dearth of healthy options available. For instance, many chest binders that are extremely restrictive can potentially be harmful over time. The two were inspired to design clothing so that people might feel comfortable in their skin without risking their health.

Beefcake Swimwear Clothing

Beefcake Swimwear

Beefcake Swimwear was founded by Mel Brittner Wells. She shared one of her non-binary friends wanted a bikini in the 1920s, but the only ones she could locate were historical originals made of wool. This is how Beefcake was born. Wells discovered quickly that sewing swimwear is challenging as people showed interest in having a swimsuit like this—a straightforward one-piece with greater coverage, but without a skirt or other frills and moaning about how difficult swimsuits are to create. Then she decided to pursue it since it sounded like a good business idea. She believed that the majority of her clients would be “masculine of center lesbians.” She was shocked to find that Beefcake is popular with all demographics. Even a 70-year-old client once emailed Mel a picture of herself wearing the swimming suit to express how much she adored it. She hears from a variety of people who adore the product because her audience is diverse in terms of age, gender, and size.

GenderBender Clothing

GenderBender

The request to construct a binder for an FTM buddy who couldn’t afford to buy a new one came to our creator, Xander Shephard, in 2017. Xander noticed right away that it was the most comfortable binder he had ever worn and that the trans market, particularly for plus-sized people, was underdeveloped. While dealing with their own gender identity issues, Xander ultimately felt they were “trans enough” to create a line of basic binders and registered the name GenderBender as a trademark in 2018. Xander made the decision to expand the brand and serve people on the gender spectrum in order to help them feel euphoric, represented, and valid in a world that is so binary after receiving numerous positive reviews praising the comfort and quality as well as a deep need to dress their trans and non-binary friends. Since then, GenderBender provided the trans community with the best clothing options by making them locally and responsibly. As a small business in this market, we always consider new ways to do things better and want to provide them to you as quickly as possible.
