Pop songwriter and producer Lauv has shared a new song titled ‘Fake’ teaming up with the rising singer Conan Gray. Puza Snigdha reports.
The duo have released the song on 13th October with music video which has been directed by Jason Lester.
The song ‘Fake’ is a playful rant against the double faced people who have something in their mind but saying different to the people.
The music video features colorful set where Lauv and Conan are trying to be real in an inauthentic world, outrageous set to set. The song suggests people to be true to themselves in this fake world. Its not very hard to be real but very easy to lose being yourself.
The two started to write the song when they first met. “we wrote ‘Fake’ the first time I met Conan and it’s one of my fav songs ever. I hope you love it,” said Lauv.

Lauv released his debut album “how i’m feeling” back in March which is “a powerful, beautiful debut”. He dropped his own ‘Without You’ EP in June. Lauv was also featured on Ellie Goulding’s single Slow Grenade, in July.
