Three years of murder spree has spread to aid workers to police force and minorities to muslims, killing over 50 people. Too many people have been killed for what they represent, than for anything they have done. Justice needs to prevail, so Speak Up.
A REPORT FROM BANGLADESH
The victims include aid workers, police officers, minorities, and Muslims—killed not for their actions but for the identities they bore. These murders are not random acts of violence but a calculated attack on the fabric of society.
This spree began with the academics, who dared to think and challenge the status quo. The authorities remained silent. Next, the army and police became targets, guardians of law and order, yet no one spoke up. When the violence reached the minorities, silence prevailed again—“I am not one of them,” some reasoned. Then, the women were attacked, but voices stayed quiet, for “I am not a woman.”

Speak Up
Finally, they came for everyone, stripping away the last semblances of safety. By the time the silence broke, it was too late—there was no one left to speak. This is a wake-up call for justice. Injustice against one is an injustice against all. If we don’t stand together and speak up now, the cycle of violence will continue unchecked.
