When and Where:

Unleash your creativity from April 29th to May 5th, 2024 in the heart of South Africa’s Tankwa Karoo. Embrace the scorching beauty of the African desert at Quaggafontein, Bloemfontein.

What is AfrikaBurn?

Often called the “African sibling” of Burning Man, AfrikaBurn is a week-long celebration of art, self-expression, and radical self-reliance. It’s a place to shed inhibitions, contribute to a collaborative art experiment, and witness large-scale masterpieces come to life.

Headliners? Not Quite:

AfrikaBurn isn’t about headlining musicians or top-billed performers. It’s about the collective energy of the entire “Burner” community. The true stars are the attendees themselves who bring their creativity, art installations, mutant vehicles, and wild costumes to life.

What to Expect:

Prepare to be wowed by a dazzling array of art installations, mind-blowing performances, and themed camps. AfrikaBurn is a place for self-discovery, pushing creative boundaries, and participating in a truly unique social experiment.

Important Note:

Tickets for AfrikaBurn typically sell out fast. They went on sale on September 6th, 2023, with a limit of two tickets per person. However, there may be a resale platform available through Quicket [AfrikaBurn resale tickets]. Be sure to check the official AfrikaBurn website for the latest information.

So, if you’re looking to unleash your inner artist, be part of something bigger than yourself, and witness a spectacle unlike any other, then AfrikaBurn might just be your perfect adventure.
