France to Agree Loan of Bayeux Tapestry to Britain

The Bayeux Tapestry will soon be heading to Britain for the first time in 950 years. After talks between British and French culture departments, French president Emmanuel Macron is expected to announce the loan soon.
It will most probably be another five years before the famous tapestry makes it way to Britain. Many tests and checks have to be conducted to experts before to ensure it is safe to move and no damage will come to it.
The Bayeux Tapestry, an artefact 70 metres long and 50 centimetres high, depicts scenes from the Norman conquest of Britain after the Battle of Hastings was won in 1066 by William the Conqueror.
The matter of where it was made is still in question. Was it made in the newly conquered England? Or was it made in France, the country from where the conquest originated?
Britain has attempted to get the Bayeux Tapestry on loan before but this is the first successful bid. The tapestry is believed to have been made shortly after the Battle of Hastings and because of its antiquity it has only rarely been moved within French borders.
The tapestry is currently being housed in Normandy and it is still unknown where in the UK it will be displayed.
