‘Fan Girl’ to premiere at Tokyo International Film Festival

The award-winning director Antoinette Jadaone’s film ‘Fan Girl’ is set to be premiered at the 33rd Tokyo International Film Festival this 31st October. Puza Snigdha reports.

The film ‘Fan Girl’ is written and directed by Antoinette Jadaone’s and stars Paulo Avelino and Charlie Dizon.

The film tells a story of a fan who is obsessed by his idol. The fan somehow manage to sneaks into his idol’s house to find a “horrifying truth.” Charlie Dizon potrays the role of the fan girl and Paulo Avelino as the actor.

The director took Instagram on 30th September to announce the news saying, “FINALLY!! A world premiere for a film that’s so close to my heart!”

Charlie Dizon shared his experience during the film shooting on Instagram.

There will be total 31 films for the audience award but ‘Fan Girl’ will be the only Filipino film to be accepted at the Asian Project Market.

The film festival will run from October 31 to November 9.
