Adult Learning Lewisham

A century ago, the British government reported that: “Adult education is not a luxury for the few… but a permanent national necessity, an inseparable aspect of citizenship, and should therefore be regarded as both universal and lifelong.” The importance of adult education is as relevant now as it was in 1919, with new challenges to master and opportunities to overcome as we navigate the turbulent waters of the twenty-first century.
Adult education is not a luxury, but it is something that we need if we are to flourish and be the best that we can be: from learning English and Maths to developing our creative skills, or being supported to live more independently.
Each year Adult Learning Lewisham (ALL) helps over 4000 people to achieve their goals, improve their skills and transform their lives through learning. We offer classes in modern facilities with well-equipped classrooms, specialist art, design and textiles workshops, computing suites and a dance and fitness studio.
Learning something new doesn’t have to be daunting, try something that you’ve always wanted to do, make new friends and have fun while you’re doing it.
