The Emmy Awards 2020 will be held virtually this year due to this COVID-19 pandemic across the world. Puza Snigdha reports.
Emmy Awards has already announced the names of nominees for this year and the next day the Television Academy revealed on Wednesday that the 2020 Emmy Awards will be held online in September because of the pandemic.
The producers of the event and Kimmel has signed the letter which was sent to the nominees and confirmed that the event will be held online as it will be tough for everyone to gather in one place.
“We’ll be producing an event that is filled with warmth and humanity, which celebrates the power of television to bring us together and to help us shape our world,” said the authorities in the letter.
This is going to be the first time for the Primetime Emmy Awards taking place virtually 20th September which is going to be the major Bollywood event since the coronavirus pandemic.
The 72nd edition of the award program was supposed to take place at Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles.
This is a chance to see the star’s in their pajamas as the shooting will be held from the star’s homes across the USA. A letter has already been sent to the nominees from the producers and organizers.
However, the show will be broadcasted by the ABC television.
