EA adds women to the Pro Clubs mode in ‘FIFA 22’

The much-loved Pro Clubs mode is set to boast a host of new features in FIFA 22, the latest game in EA Sports’ FIFA video game franchise, including the ability to create female Virtual Pros for the first time in the series’ history.

This is the latest move the company has made in the FIFA series to be more inclusive to women, following on from the decision to introduce its first-ever English-speaking female commentator with presenter and football pundit Alex Scott.

Some more about this new game:

  • The online mode that allows players to create and control a football player of gamers own design now let’s create female players.
  • After designing a player to gamers liking, they can then take that player into Pro Clubs where a gamer can compete in matches.
  • Women football players are currently only available to play via international teams and Volta mode which is similar to FIFA Street.
  • Pro Clubs is a popular game mode with the FIFA gaming community, which is set to receive a few new features in FIFA 22.
  • The game mode allows players to create and customize their player or “Pro”, which they can then use online with and against other players.
  • Players can choose their “Pro’s” position and play with friends in the same team, who can have “Pro’s” in other positions, making it one of the most socially enjoyable game modes in the FIFA video game franchise.
