Bonnaroo Festival to Provide Free Laundry Service

Bonnaroo has announced that they will be setting up a free, 3,600-square-foot laundry mat during its 2018 festival.
According to The Tennesseean, the festival is introducing a new feature this year. The idea is that the visitors will be able to drop their clothes off at this one massive laundry location and then come back later to pick them up, where they’ll be washed, dried, and folded. And it’s free, which is almost baffling to contemplate and the opportunity is sponsored, of course.
LaundROO will be filled with 25 washers and driers which will be put into full use as part of the laundrette’s drop-off service. Located at the famous arch that leads into Centeroo, the laundry mat will also have AC, a phone charging station and a lounge complete with video games hooked up to large LG TV’s.
What’s more, LG has teamed with New York City vintage shop What Goes Around Comes Around to bring a clothing swap to LaundROO. Over 2500 items will initially be available, with festivalgoers simply asked to hand over whatever they’re wearing in exchange for their new outfit. Any clothes that are left over at the end of the festival will be donated to the United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region.
