Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker has shared a video update on his health a month after Blink-182 had to cancel a string of their Las Vegas residency concerts because of the blood clots in his arms.
In the video, Barker is seen telling his bandmates that something is wrong and his arm hurts. “I can bleed through shows, I’ve played with broken foot, broken arms,” he noted. “Something is up.”
“It’s been the longest 4 weeks without playing drums,” Barker says. “I played through two shows in Vegas with infection and blood clots before I was able to get a clear diagnosis from a doctor. Here’s an update on my road to recovery.”
The band had previously told fans that Barker had been told to not play until the beginning of July when medical staff would re-evaluate his condition.
Blink-182 are currently off the road, with plans to return Sept. 14 at Chicago’s Riot Fest. They also have additional dates as well as more Las Vegas residency shows at the Palms Casino starting in October.
Blink-182 are set to continue their Vegas shows later this year and are also working on their next studio album, the follow-up to 2016’s ‘California’.
