Previously Billie Eilish has announced ‘Overheated’, a multi-day climate-focused eventthat’ssetto requireplace at The O2 in Londonduring thisJune month. The six-day event willhappeninitiallyon June 10-12, 16, and the second event willoccuron June 25-26 to coincide withthe United Kingdomand Ireland leg of the singer’s ‘Happier Than Ever’ world tour.
The ‘Overheated’could be aclimate focus event andthere’llbe a discussion about the climate crisis and also about the work alldoto forma special. The event will bring climate activists, musicians, and designers together at the venues across The O2. Fashion icon Dame Vivenne Westwood, Glastonbury Festival co-organizer Emily Eavis, Girl in Red, Support + Feed founder Maggie Baird, climate activist Tori Tsui and cultural sustainability fashion activist/entrepreneur Samata Pattinson.
Subjects focusingonthe advantagesof a plant-based diet, developing greening practiceswithin themusic industry, and sustainable fashion are set to be explored during panel discussions.there’llbe presenting screenings of the Overheated documentary, Live performances, and climate action opportunities. Sigrid will be performing live during Overheated‘s ‘Music Climate Session’ on June 16. Collaborator Finneas, Eilish, and her brother are totally set tostartthe event by giving a warm introduction on June 10.
Eilish is among the artists whoare devotedto guiding the music industry’s response tothe worldwideclimate and ecological emergency and supported the recent launch of the ‘US chapter of Music Declares Emergency. The six-day conference (June 10-12 and 16 and June 25-26) presented by Eilish, Support + Feed, and REVERB will overlap with the UK/Ireland dates on Eilish’s Happier Than Ever world tour and ll profits from ticket sales for Overheatedaredonated to the organizations’ Support + Feed and REVERB.
