The superstar Beyoncé bought a 7,500 sq. ft stone church in New Orleans. According to a report the church was built in the early 1900’s, making it structure over a 100-years-old. The church was listed at $850,000, although it is unclear if this is exactly what Beyoncé paid.
The church building has not been in use for sometime because of its members’ deaths and it’s unclear whether Beyoncé will convert it into a residential property but it is located not too far from her sister Solange’s home.
According to its listing, the property “affords many possibilities for redevelopment as a single, multi- family, remaining as a Church, possibility of a commercial usage or many other possibilities”.
This is the second reported sacred property the star has bought in the area, with another £2million being spent in 2015 on another refurbished church.
