Famous Indian singer Anupam Roy’s first Rabindrasangeet ‘Ekla Cholo Re’ clad to be an enormous hit and also the singer-composer now wants to hold on with it. Dipto Paul Reports.
While Speaking about the song Anupam shared, “This song is an anthem of self-belief! We’ve got grown-up paying attention to this tune since our childhood days. I’m happy to venture into Rabindrasangeet through such a strong song.”
In the music video, it shows the struggle of life and how strength and determination can help to fight that hard situation.

Anupam feels lucky to work out the overwhelming response, considering this was his first Rabindrasangeet.
“I feel really lucky, didn’t expect such an awesome response and it inspires me. I might like to sing more Tagore songs. There’s a weird pull towards the tune of EklaCholo Re; in other words, Tagore has instilled upon us an indomitable spirit of bravery, through this song,” adds Anupam.
Indian para-athletes Ujjwal Ghosh, Saheb Hossein, Rubia Chatterjee, Ajibur Rahman Molla, SufiyaMollaand players from the Football Association for the Blind of Bengal (FABB) are cast in the music video.
These athletes have succeeded in overcoming barriers with their hard works and uphold their nation’s fame, which is the reason for including them in the music video.
