Anti-LGBT Equality Teaching Protests Banned

The protest over the LGBT equality lessons at the outside of a Birmingham primary school have been permanently banned, a judge has ruled.
Parents who are angry that their children are being taught about LGBT equality have been permanently banned from protesting outside the Anderton Park Primary school, a judge has ruled.
The decision has taken at the High Court in Birmingham on Tuesday.
The topic first raised by the Muslim parents and they lined up with banners, placards and loudspeakers to get their point.
An imam has been captured in video footage while he was generating anger among the people and the footage was shown to a High Court judge at Birmingham’s Civil Justice Centre. The footage also includes that a campaigner berating the school’s efforts to promote tolerance as an ‘atrocity’.
Calling the protest ‘awful’, ‘toxic and nasty’, Mr. Justice Warby said, “The protests had a very significant adverse impact on pupils, staff and residents – and it led to 21 teachers at the school being treated for stress.”
A boycott zone to stop the fights was implemented through a break order back in June, in the midst of security fears about increasingly large groups including individuals with no direct connection with the school or the local area.
High Court judge Mr. Justice Warby has granted Birmingham City Council’s order to extend the ban to protect the school.
It comes after a five-day hearing last month saw the local authority seek a permanent order to protect the school from further protests.
