Bollywood Superstar Deepika Padukone tied knot on Wednesday in a traditional Konkani ceremony with Ranveer Singh at the breathtaking Villa del Balbianello at Lake Como, Italy.
A day after Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh married as per South Indian traditions in Italy’s Lake Como, the couple exchanged wedding vows as per Sindhi rituals earlier on Thursday.
Yesterday, the pair released two adorable pictures of happy moment of the traditional wedding which was closed to the media.
Keeping the wedding extremely private with the presence of their families and close friends, they posted photo on Instagram soon after the marriage where celebrity star’s congratulated them on the posts.
According to reports, guests were made to wear a special wrist band and cover up the camera lenses on their mobile phones with stickers. Boats were also made to patrol the lake to keep away eager photographers and gossip hunters.
Deepika wore a traditional silk saree in white and gold tones designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee for the Konkani wedding. We are sure that the bride looked resplendent!
Deepika and Ranveer will host two receptions – first, on November 21 in her hometown Bengaluru, and second, on November 28 for the film fraternity.
In a joint statement on social media, the actors – two of the Indian film industry’s biggest names – expressed their “immense joy” and said, “With the blessings of our families, it gives us immense joy in sharing that our wedding is set to take place on the 14th and 15th of November, 2018”.
