Winnie the Pooh Exhibit: Victoria & Albert Museum

The Winnie the Pooh exhibit at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London presented visitors with a dreamy walk down memory lane. A creation of writer A.A. Milne, the fictional book series began in 1926, telling stories of the many adventures of the young Christopher Robin, his best friend Winnie the Pooh bear, and all their animal friends.
Brought to life by the illustrations of E.H. Shepard, the exhibit featured a collection of Winnie the Pooh illustrations, memorabilia, family photos of A.A. Milne and his son Christopher Robin Milne, the real life inspiration for the series, and so much more. Visitors got to walk a path through an imaginative layout, learning the origins of the series while following the timeline of its progression.
For long time fans of the fictional characters, it provided a great day out at the museum and even those who weren’t familiar with the books could enjoy the exhibit. It was a lovely way to spend part of your day, whether it was spending quality time with family or basking in the nostalgia of a children’s storybook.
