Cardi B and her husband Offset are getting divorce after a year of marriage and Cardi B confirmed the news in an instragram post in Tuesday night but didn’t give any exact reason for the separation.
The couple were secretly married in September 2017 and only Cardi B announced the news in June 2018. They have a four-month-old daughter, Kulture. Their issue began earlier but the couple remained committed to co-parenting their daughter Kulture.
“I guess we grew out of love, but we’re not together anymore. I don’t know. It might take time to get a divorce and I’m gonna always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father and yah,” said Cardi.
Cardi reported she and the Migos rapper have been endeavoring to work things out for quite a while together, and it’s no one’s blame however they’ve chosen to throw in the towel. In a video Tuesday night, she said the two stay great companions and colleagues .
“So everybody been bugging me and everything and you know, I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby father for a hot minute now and we’re really good friends and you know we’re really good business partners,” said Cardi B.
“He’s always somebody that I run to to talk to and we got a lot of love for each other but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time and it’s nobody’s fault.”
The affirmation of their split comes just days after the combine were seen at 102.7 KIISFM’s Jingle Ball show at the Forum in Los Angeles.
