WhatsOn Celebrates Mental Health Awareness Week!

This Mental Health Awareness Week gives all of us a chance to raise the consciousness of topics related to mental health, as well as to raise awareness for change.

When

This week, from 9 to 15 May, is Mental Health Awareness Week. It was founded 21 years ago by the Mental Health Foundation. It is now celebrated every year all over the world to raise awareness among the people about the seriousness of mental health.

Together we can tackle loneliness

Theme

The theme of the previous Mental Health Awareness Weeks included mental health, nature, and kindness. This year, loneliness is the theme for the Mental Health Awareness Week.

This year, the Mental Health Foundation is trying to raise awareness of the effects of loneliness on people’s mental health, as well as how people can address the issue of loneliness.

Get Involved

We need to give more attention to loneliness. Those who have struggled or are struggling, come and share your experience with us. We would work together to raise awareness among people regarding the issue of loneliness as well as its impacts on people’s mental health.

Let’s be aware and prevent mental health-related issues by creating a healthy community where people can communicate about their difficulties.
