What’s On ‘The Witcher’ Season 2

The Polish-American fantasy drama ‘The Witcher’ series season 2 has revealed release date, cast, news, and more. The Netflix series is based on a book as the same name.


• The true smash hit series ‘The Witcher’ season 2 has already started shooting in August and has a release date of 2021.
• Talking about the release date, Lauren S. Hissrich, the creator of the show said, “We don’t yet have a target launch date for season 2, past 2021… We don’t want to rush the product.”
• The series has added some new cast. Basil Eidenbenz is set to play Eskel in season 2, replacing Thue Rasmussen. Due to scheduling issues, Rasmussen had to leave the show.
• Few more new casts who are joining the show- Mecia Simson as Francesca, Thue Ersted Rasmussen as Eskel, Aisha Fabienne Ross as Lydia and Agnes Bjorn as Vereena.
• The second season was about to come at the end of this year but due to COVID-19 pandemic, the production has been delayed.
• A prequel series to The Witcher has been ordered by Netflix according to an announcement from July 2020.
