The web series “Taqdeer” is a co-produced online series by the two Bengalis, is going to release on 18th December on the popular OTT platform Hoichoi. Puza Snigdha reports.
Hoichoi has already unveiled the trailer for the series which is full of suspense and thrill elements. “Taqdeer” will be available to stream in 100 countries. Hoichoi had a virtual event where it announced about “Taqdeer”.
The series features actor Chanchal Chowdhury as the leading role of the series, Sanjida Preeti, Manoj Pramanik, Partha Barua and Sohel Mondol Rana and more. The eight-episode series is directed by Syed Ahmed Shawki and Co-created by Syed Ahmed Shawki and Saleh Sobhan Auneem.
The shooting took place in six districts, at 39 locations with more than 100 artistes. Each epiode is 20 minutes long.
The story of the series follows a freezer van driver, names Taqdeer who lives in Dhaka. He finds a 30 years old woman dead body, wounded by bullets, in her van and her life turns upside down. This incident pushes Taqdeer and his best friend Montu into trouble.
Chanchal Chowdhury is well known for his selective works. “Taqdeer” is the first international project for the actor.
Being very confident about the show, the actor said, “Web-based content from Bangladesh put us in a controversial light in recent times. However, I assure our audiences that they can watch this show with their whole family.”
