Wayne Rooney has “promised Ed Sheeran he’ll sing at his wedding,” despite not being able to hold a tune.
A source close to Wayne told that despite being ‘tuneless’ and having a ‘terrible voice’, Wayne dropped Ed Sheeran a text to let him know that he has his heart set on performing at the singer’s wedding.
The former Manchester United turned Everton footballer and the singer have long been friends. The pair have frequently been spotted singing together at shows and karaoke nights.
“Wayne is totally tuneless and has a terrible voice,” a ‘source’ told. “Ed thinks that is part of his charm when he launches into surprise karaoke sessions on nights out and jumps up at friends’ weddings to sing.”
They added: “Wayne told him he would be doing the same at Ed’s wedding, whether he likes it or not.”
