Watch Foo Fighters’ New Documentary: ‘Times Like Those’

The Foo Fighters have shared a new documentary titled ‘Times Like Those’ to celebrate the 25th anniversary. Puza Snigdha reports.

The 26 min long video doesn’t have any old images or video clip of the band despite the video shows the band themselves sitting in a projection room with buckets of popcorn. The video shows slides and videos from throughout their 25 years of career and the band talk through highlights.

The premiered on YouTube on 23rd November which was recorded during recent pandemic downtime.

The video starts with Star Wars text, “A long time ago in a recording studio far, far away…”

Dave Grohl discusses the origins of his BBQ fascination, Taylor Hawkins shares the story of being “burn brothers”. “Kids, stay in school, don’t do drugs.”

The band also shares about the show in Seattle to the time they stumbled upon a teenage Icelandic punk band practicing in a basement in 2003, and asking them to open the band’s headline show in the country the following night.

Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Taylor Hawkins, Chris Shiflett and Rami Jaffee the five become nostalgic sharing their story of being together.

Foo Fighters recently released the first track ‘Shame, Shame’- which will appear on their 10th album Medicine at Midnight which they announced in the short film. Medicine at Midnight is set to release on Feb 5 but is available for pre-order.

The band’s full length new album is set to release on February 5, 2021 via Roswell Records/RCA.
