Waste Water explosion near Bristol

An explosion at a wastewater treatment in Bristol has caused multiple injuries. Four people have died in the incident. Anika Khan reports.

  • Local authorities have informed about a major explosion at Wessex Water’s Bristol Water recycling center.
  • A thorough investigation is going on to find the exact cause of the blast.
  • It is believed that the explosion occurred due to one of the chemical tanks.
  • Avon Fire and Rescue Service mobilized eight stations to respond to the incident.
  • The Labor MP of Bristol North West expressed his condolences regarding this incident.
  • He said, “I’m grateful to our fire, police, and ambulance staff for their quick response.”
