Venom is finaly jumping his way onto the big screen. (Yes I refuse to count Spider-Man 3 and rightly so!) with Tom Hardy playing the role of Eddie Brock, the journalist who makes an unlikely partnership with the alien symbiote. Venom actually looks pretty amazing and a little scary, which really does help his character. As one of the big Spiderman villains, we’ll still have to see if a Marvel movie without a traditional hero can work, as well as if Venom can stand on his own two feet without a Peter Parker to compete against.
