Up to 10,000 Songs Now can be Downloaded on Spotify

Spotify has increased the number of songs that can be downloaded to a single device from 3333 to 10,000.
Before this benefit, Spotify’s Premium users were restricted to a limit of 3333 tracks for offline listening on three different devices – a cap that caused frustration and some bitter reddit discussions.  For the average user, that limit probably wasn’t too much of a bother, but it certainly annoyed “power-users.”
In 2014, thousands of users voted to raise the limit. Their wish is now fulfilled – this new change in download limits was first spotted by some avid Spotify users, who chanced their luck and found they could download thousands more songs.
“At Spotify, we’re always working on improving the experience for our users,” a Spotify spokesman said. “We can now confirm that we have increased the number of offline tracks per device — from 3,333 on three devices to 10,000 tracks per device for up to five devices.”
Unfortunately, Spotify’s other annoying ceiling is that it has a catalogue of more than 35 million songs with no listening limit but if the artists, albums or tracks are saved these are added to a personal collection called Your Music.
