Jamaican musical group Toots and the Maytals have released their new single ‘Got to Be Tough’ as is the group’s latest single. Dipto paul reports.
The renowned group show their pride for their native home of Jamaica in the new animated music video!
Created by Nick Franco, the clip depicts an animated version of Frederick “Toots” Hibbert as he pays homage to the courage and strength of his fellow Jamaicans.
The track comes from a full-length project of Toots and the Maytals, which will be the First LP of the group in over 10 years and is set to be released on August 28th.

Commenting on the album, Hibbert said: “This album is speaking out about injustices while pointing to a better time.”
He added: “This album is teaching a path to recovery and step to better days on the journey ahead. This album Got to Be Tough is a bind builder of positive objectives,”
The Maytals are also collaborating with Ziggy Marley in their new LP called “Three Little Birds”.
