Time's Up to Receive Money from Auction of Golden Globes Dresses

The outfits worn by the star-studded list of Golden Globes guests will be auctioned off. The money raised will be donated to the Time’s Up legal defence fund.
This year’s edition of the film and television awards was marked by most of those attending the ceremony wearing black. The reason: to protest against gender inequality and sexual harassment in the workplace.
Both women and men present at the event flooded the red carpet in black dresses and tuxedos to show their solidarity with the Time’s Up initiative which was launched just days before by hundreds of women working in the entertainment industry.
The garments worn by the stars during the Golden Globes 2018 will be auctioned off after Condé Nast teamed up with eBay and Time’s Up to contribute to the cause of achieving greater gender equality and putting an end to sexual harassment.
The auction will take place on 19 Jan. Dresses up for auction include those worn by Meryl Streep, Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Margot Robbie and many more.
