WhatsOn editor, Nicole Newman has come up again with fantastic events for the week and upcoming. However, the events are started and before it gets over get your shoes for having some fun this week. Here are some of the great events for the week.

Godskitchen XXV

17 Dec

Celebrating 25 years since its first shows in Birmingham, legendary dance music brand Godskitchen returns to a new home.  Hosting the ultimate showstopper event with some of the biggest EDM names from dance music. That includes the finest selection of handpicked ‘Godskitchen legends’ and residents from its era.  Taking over this weekend at the incredible, 3000-capacity multi-roomed Digbeth warehouse Crane – the UK’s hottest new music venue.  Expect a ten-hour music buffet, of trance, techno, house and classics. In the Main Room international DJ performances come at the helm of this massive clubbing extravaganza. Some of the DJs are Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Judge Jules, Mauro Picotto, Tall Paul, and Daniel Soto.  In the Basement: Midweek Sessions presents Steve Lawler, Danny Howells, Mistress Barbara, Paul Thomas. And finally in the Backroom: Carl Kennedy, Chris Turner, Luke Neville, Micky Slim will be playing the best dancefloor fillers

An international superclub brand, Godskitchen launched in Birmingham. Back in 1997, establishing the brand as one of the best globally with parties and festivals happening across the world. “Birmingham is such an important part of Godskitchen’s history. It’s incredible to see so many of the people that helped build the club come together to make this happen”. Said Mark Gillespie, a former employee of GK and now custodian of the brand.

Godskitchen marks its return. This promises to be one of the biggest and best sell out events of the year.  Laying its footprint for its return and for what’s more to come… Its gonna go down in true Brummie stylee!!

Elrow Manchester

17 – 18 Dec

Barcelona’s most famous EDM brand Elrow, torches base in the heart of Manchester. For a top madchester night out at the Depot, one of the best music venues in the vibrant city.  Tonight’s dance music genre is a menu of a mix of Acid, Electronic, House, Tech, and Techno dance music. Elrow has been building the hottest reputation as a modern day ravers delight.  From its inception the superb Spanish dance music brand hosts events and weekly dance music residency across the world. 

Elrow is one of those clubbing nights not to be missed off your bucket list. Featuring a host of special DJ guests to get you in that Christmas feeling dance music style!  This Saturday night, Gorgon City, Eats Everything, Amedeo Picone, Alan Dixon, Arielle Free, James Organ will be there. Joe Motion, Mark Maya, Mason Maynard, Melé, SYREETA, Tini Gessler will be bringing its clubbers at The Warehouse Project. An unforgettable night of their lives for one hell of party, Bangtidy!

Festival Silent Disco

Crack out the tinsel, and your best dancing shoes not forgetting your Santa hat for a right. And theroyal night out at Millennium Point, Birmingham.  Teaming up with Silent Noize for the silent disco to end all silent discos. There’s no better way than to celebrate the season of goodwill or just a banging night out dancing.  Three DJs go head to head to battle it out playing a mash up of the best chart. The genres include dance, hip-hop, r’n’b, old skool bangers to keep your dancing all night long. And belting out the odd Christmas power ballad to hot up the Christmas party feeling.
