One of the UK’s biggest rock festival returns to the hallowed ground of the famous race circuit of Donington Park near Derby.  In celebration of its 20th year this festivals loyal fans and newbies are treated to five days & nights of full on heavy rock and metal music to feast on.  Its a festival which over the years has got bigger and better pulling in mammoth crowds delivering on the festival experience from the massive stages of live music, comedy and so much more entertainment .  Having built a reputation for hosting a line-up of esteemed superstar rock legends from the rock’n’roll hall of fame. 

This years line-up is like no other and is sure to go off with a bang in the mosh pits of thrash.  Always selling out in record time because there’s not a metal head festival that’s quite on par with Download unless festival-goers fancy nipping over to Europe.  As the festival has evolved and moved with the times, it now includes an array or boutique style camping but still features low-key camping for those who just up for the ultimate get down and dirty festival.  Although for those who like to mix a bit of rock and pleasure this year Downloads headstrong festival-goer can experience rock & retreat at Melbourne Hall.

Parklife

10 – 11 June

If your up for some thrills, spills and no belly aches!  The city of Manchester welcomes one of its annual festivals which has been making huge waves on the festival calender becoming one of the UK’s most popular and famous weekend away music festivals. Parklife has secured its position at the very fore-front on the UK’s dance music scene. Forest Live

8 – 10 June

Thank the lord the summer is finally here.  Music lovers from across the UK can finally get out there and see some of there favourite music artists in some amazing open-air locations.  This weekend is the start of music events kicking off at the Forestry Commissions.  The production team have erected huge stages to transform there big open spaces into  beautiful outdoor music concert arenas to bring the entertainment to the next level.  Cannock Chase in Staffordshire is one of the many Forestry Commissions locations to offer these unique annual music experiences with some mega music artists set to play on the line-up. Thursday Madness, Friday Paul Weller and Saturday features Tom Grennan, and more
