Theresa May Urged to Address Windrush Situation

The anger and frustration towards the government’s attitude towards – and treatment of – the Windrush situation is steadily increasing.
One Windrush mother has stated that Theresa May should ‘be ashamed of herself’ following the associated issues occurring within her family.
Sentina Bristol’s story centres on the difficulties her son faced before his sad death last month.
The mother and son unit moved from Grenada to the UK in 1968 yet life in the UK proved no easy feat for the family.
Her son Dexter lost his job as a cleaner due to questions over his right to be in the country, and fears of losing his flat and benefits led the individual to be diagnosed with depression.
Unfortunately Dexter passed away before receiving a letter hinting at a possible breakthrough in his case, and his mother has been left both devastated and enraged about the incident.
“Theresa May should have another look at the situation she created in this country for the Caribbean and African people. She should be ashamed of herself and all the other MPs who are on her side should be ashamed because we are human beings.”
The Home Office revealed last night that they are currently looking into 232 cases.
