Lindsay Lohan, Dennis Quaid Elaine Hendrix, Simon Kunz, and Lisa Ann Walter all reunited on Instagram to celebrate 22 years of ‘The Parent Trap’! Anika Khan reports.
The 14 minute Instagram video was released yesterday and saw the reunion of the movie’s original cast members, directors, producer, and writers.
In the video, they recalled some of their favourite moments from the film sets.
Lohan also discussed her original audition for the role, while the other cast and crew members discussed the making of the movie.
The group also pays a tribute to the late star Natasha Richardson who played Liz James, the twin’s mother.
Katie Couric, the producer of the show announced on Instagram: “Boy, do Nancy Meyers and I have a treat for you! We got the cast of The Parent Trap together again for the first time since 1998.”
The members used the reunion as an opportunity to raise funds for the’ World
Central Kitchen’ organization who are working to feed the people in need and
poverty.
