“The Boys” Season Three Renewed at Amazon Prime Video

The Boys are coming back with a brand new season three which has been renewed by Amazon Studios during Thursday’s Comic-Con at the Home session. Puza Snigdha reports.

The popular comic-book series “The Boys” is not going anywhere as the executive producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg of the series have announced the renewal for a third season. The announcement comes just six months before the debut of the second season in September.

The popular show tells the story of a group of vigilantes fighting back against superheroes who abuses their abilities.

The second season will feature special appearance Rogen and Goldberg as promised at the end of the last season. “Because this show has fans, and it is watched by people like you, they have decided to renew it yet again, for the third season,” they said towards the audience. So if you like The Boys, you got more of it,” they said towards the audience.

The series will also feature Aisha Tyler who will be the host and executive producer of the after show “Prime Rewind: Inside The Boys,” including Jack Quaid, Laz Alonso, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, and more.

“Amazon, in a bold and historic push to expand their ‘weirdo’ demographic, has greenlit season three of The Boys,” said Eric Kripke, the showrunner. The writer and producers of the show are hoping to start shooting in 2021.

“Prime Rewind: Inside The Boys” will go premiere on Aug. 28, with a recap of season one, and will have a companion show for each episode of season two.Watch the teaser trailer below!
