Tasty Tuesday: How to make Shrimp ramen recipe!

Inspired by traditional Japanese ramen, we bring you the easiest homemade shrimp ramen with a flavorful broth, fresh veggies, and lots of noodles!

Ingredients:

  • 3 packets of ramen
  • 2 cups of large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 6 cups chicken, vegetable, or seafood stock
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 teaspoon of diced ginger
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 cups of chopped green cabbage
  • 3/4 cup sliced carrots
  • 3/4 cup sweet peppers
  • 1/2 cup sliced onion
  • I lime juice
  • Cilantro to season

Method:

  1. In a frying pan add 1 tablespoon olive oil. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  2. In another large pot, heat a tablespoon of olive oil and add all the fresh vegetables and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add garlic and ginger.
  3. Add your desired stock, soy sauce, sugar, lime juice, until combined. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to medium and let simmer for 8 minutes.
  4. Add the ramen noodles to the broth and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and serve into ramen bowls.
  5. Add in shrimp and garnish with cilantro.
