Tasty Tuesday: Easy Chocolate Cheesecake!

Looking for a super easy and delicious treat to make when you don’t have a lot of ingredients in your kitchen? This is the recipe for you!

Ingredients:

  • 225gchocolate chips
  • 225gcream cheese
  • 100g cupsugar
  • 6large eggs (whites and yolks, separated)
  • boiling water

Method:

Preheat your oven to 170°C and grease a round cake pan with a nonstick cooking spray. Next, line the pan with greaseproof paper.

Now, add your chocolate chips to a large heatproof bowl, and microwave on 50% power for 2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until melted. Once this is done, whisk in the cream cheese and sugar, and then let cool. Next, add in the egg yolks and whisk to incorporate.

Add your egg whites in a separate bowl, and whisk together until stiff. Next, fold the whipped eggs into the chocolate mixture bit by bit until combined. Pour this mixture into the prepared cake pan. Now pop into the oven to bake for 35 minutes. Once out of the oven, let it cool completely and then put it into the fridge to chill for at least 5 hours. Once cool, tuck in and enjoy!
