Tasty @ Cafe On: How to make Mango Faluda!

Mango Faluda is perhaps one of the easiest yet delicious dessert drink that one can make. And there is absolutely no excuse to not make them this Summer with the abundance of mangoes lying somewhere inside your fridge or the fruit basket on your kitchen counter. Try this tasty Summer recipe full of flavors.

Ingredients:

  • 6 tsp. Sweet Basil Seeds
  • 1/2 cup thin noodles
  • 3tbspn mango puree
  • 1/2 mango diced
  • 2 liter of Milk
  • 4 tsp. condense milk
  • Icecream and nuts for garnishing

Method:

  1. Soak Sweet basil seeds in water for an hour. Strain and keep aside.
  2. Take a pan and add 2 liters of milk. Add the noodles and basil seeds and wait to come to a boil.
  3. Let the milk simmer in low heat till it becomes thick and creamy.
  4. Allow the faluda mix to cool down.
  5. Now take your serving glasses and pour the milk mixture.
  6. Add a lot of ice.
  7. Now add the mango puree and then place diced mangoes
  8. Garnish with a scoop of mango ice cream, mango syrup, pistachios, and almonds.
