Taking risks?

Dogs. Cats. Monkeys. Just some of the species of animal that can carry rabies. And did you know that there is no cure?
The latest figures from the World Health Organisation indicate that over 50,000 people die every year from rabies. Yet many people travel to areas where rabies is endemic without even thinking about being vaccinated. Would you?
You don’t even have to be bitten by a rabid animal. Just a scratch or even just being licked on an open sore can transmit the virus.
So how do we help? The Blood Care Foundation will provide additional vaccine for clients who have completed the course of three pre-exposure injections; for those who haven’t been vaccinated BCF can provide Rabies Immunoglobulin. You can access this by signing up to our services before you travel through our website www.bcftravelclub.net It goes without saying that Terms & Conditions apply!
Travel safely, and wisely.
