Student Rights March in London

The Student Activist Weekender will take place on 8 – 9 September in London. The UCL will be teaming up with many national campaigns and local student group including the National Campaign Against Fees and Cuts, NUS Trans Campaign and Young Greens as well as many student-worker solidarity groups.
Student activists from across the country are coming along together before the start of the first term for training, skill-sharing and political discussion. This event will aim to target campus activism and urge students to take a stand.
Over 140 students and student union officers have taken a stand and signed a statement that urges the key issues facing student to be solved, that’s both domestic and international. The students campaigning are hopeful that their demands will be met and that universities and the government will come together to solve their issues.
All students should come along to make a change and utilise their voice as the young people of this generation are the hopeful future. This event is free to attend and accommodation, breakfast and lunch will be provided.
