Stars Unite for Disney Singalong!

Fans of Disney can tune in on Thursday night on ABC to watch musical superstars Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato and more cover classic Disney songs! Tanzia Haq brings the scoop.

In a truly magical move, US channel ABC will be hosting a Disney family singalong special tomorrow, Thursday night 8PM Eastern Time. For hardcore Disney fans, this means you’ll be able to hear covers of your childhood favorites like ‘Colors Of The Wind’, sung by Tori Kelly, and ‘Can You Feel The Love Tonight’ sung by Christina Aguilera.

All the featuring artists will be tuning in from their homes. You can also tune in from wherever you are to sing along with artists, with the lyrics guided by an animated Disney character. If that’s not enough to get you excited, the cast of High School Musical is coming together to do a rendition of ‘We’re All In This Together’. If that does not spell nostalgia for millennials, nothing else will.

ABC entertainment president Karey Burke said the event was organized to inspire togetherness during these difficult times. “We hope that we can help create some new unforgettable moments in everyone’s home in a way that only the magic of Disney can.” She said.

Ryan Seacrest will be hosting the hour long special, with Kristin Chenoweth starting things off with vocal warm up exercises. Elle Fanning, from the live-action Sleeping Beauty remake ‘Maleficent’, will provide an introduction to the program.

For those who do not have access to ABC, they can tune in to Hulu Live TV to catch the performance.

To get you more pumped, here are some of the songs you can look forward to:

“A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes” — Demi Lovato and Michael Bublé
“Can You Feel the Love Tonight” — Christina Aguilera
“Colors of the Wind” — Tori Kelly
“Do You Want to Build a Snowman” — Thomas Rhett
“I Won’t Say I’m In Love” — Ariana Grande
“We’re All in This Together” — Kenny Ortega and his friends from High School Musical, Descendants, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, ZOMBIES, and more.
