Smartphone Photography

The book of Prito Reza on the various subjects of smartphone photography is coming up in Amar Ekushey.  Smartphone Photography is published by Shobdoshoili, and is available at their stall (256-259) in the Ekushey Boi Mela. The book can also be purchased directly from any corner of the city through Rokomari.com
Former photo journalist Prito Reza, now a celebrated wedding photographer took this genre of photography to a different level internationally – with his extra services, even photo albums are designed and printed like scrapbooks of happiness.
Mobile camera technology has gone a long way in this age of technology development. Mobile phones are able to take great pictures, making it possible to take great pictures on mobile phones without professional cameras or DSLR. The book, published in the Amar Ekushey Book Fair, discusses the various categories of mobile photography, tips, hacks, editing techniques, etc.
“What camera did you take the picture with?” is a question that Prito Reza, one of Bangladesh’s creative photographers, hates. “In 2020, what matters more than the camera you’re holding, is your skill,” he says.
The power of being able to capture photos on devices that we carry in our pockets is not to be miscalculated. With the advent of increasingly powerful cameras in our smartphones, it is the optimal way of taking photos.  Citizen journalism and mobile film festivals have also grown from strength to strength in recent years.
With Smartphone Photography, Prito Reza is essentially encouraging everyone to try their hand at photography. “In my book, I use my technical knowledge as a photographer, and help implement those tricks on smartphones. If you are interested in photography, the lack of equipment is no longer an excuse to back down,” asserts Prito, who is also the brand ambassador of a world-renowned brand, Fujifilm.
