Band Shohojia drops the second single ‘Ochena Shohor’ from their third album ‘Chithi’. To release the song, the band arranged a tremendous event at the Niketon of the capital.
The event started with Bokrorekha’s astonishing performance, later on, famous bands like Shironamhin, Lalon, Shonar Bangla Circus, Meghdol, Apekkhik, and others also performed there. To maintain covid safety and other precaution the event was arranged with a small group of people, but the whole event was live on Facebook.
Shohojia released their second single on YouTube and also played it live at 9 PM in the capital. The lead vocalist and lyricist Raju said on WhatsOn regarding this album that
“actually in the Chithi (letter) album we try to put some melodious songs. Nostalgic situation.. Like old school days! With Chithi (letter) you would find some memories, when people send the letter, they also wait to get back the answer, there’s also so many emotions remaining as well. Basically concluding all sorts of things we are making on this album.”
In 2018 the band released their second album ‘Ghora’. The album includes seven songs. While four songs focus on horses, their popular tracks are-“Chhoto Pakhi”, “Chocolates”, “Jadukor”, “Amader Kotha”, “Chhut, Ghora”, “Bhor Hote Raat”.
