Seven Things About Singapore International Festival Of Arts

The Singapore International Festival of Arts has unveiled new program plans, starting from October to December 2020.

Here some things about SIFA which you would like to know:
• After June SIFA is coming back with its new virtual edition plan which will feature live performances, podcast series, and more.
• The upcoming virtual version of the Singapore International Festival Of Arts named SIFA v2.020.
• There will be a Sound Social Series across December. Electronic composer Planeswalker will join on December 9, experimental sound artist Zul Mahmod will join on December 16, and on December 23 weish of .gif .
• The Sound Social Series focuses on the musicians who create music through non-traditional means, such as unconventional performing techniques.
• A new program is set to add in this edition named Jazz at Play: 7 Songs at Christmas from December 18 to 20, which will feature three introspective evenings of jazz tunes performed by 10 Singaporean jazz bands.
•Jazz at Play: 7 Songs at Christmas includes Rani Singam, Tan Wei Xiang, Ramu Thiruyanam, Aaron James Lee, The Steve McQueens Band, Rit Xu, and their band.
• There will two podcast series titled Unboxing New Music. Among the podcast series two will be aired online- “Sounds Of Asia” and another will be released in December. “Sound Of Asia” will feature a full-length digital concert focusing on original compositions from the Southeast Asian region.
