Selena Gomez Played the Role of a Bisexual in ‘Wizards of Waverly Place

In ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’, Selena Gomez, the protagonist was bisexual and came close to dating a girl.

In Wizards of Waverly Place, Selena Gomez’s character almost had a whole new character journey. Peter Murrieta, the original executive producer, & writer of Wizards of Waverly Place, is speaking up over one specific regret. This is about regarding the characters of Selena Gomez & Hayley Kiyoko while the show’s revival is in full force.

Murrieta acknowledged that Alex Russo & Stevie Nichols’ romance “could’ve been fantastic” in an interview with David DeLuise & Jennifer Stone for the Wizards of Waverly Pod.

Peter said, “I believe we might have explored further that of a relationship between Stevie & Alex.

The producer clarified that Disney Channel at the time wasn’t prepared to air an LGBT couple.

“We couldn’t at the time, but it was obvious to every one of us just what friendship was”, he added.

Peter eventually admitted that its Disney Channel got advanced in the past few years on Gay issues.

When portraying Stevie, Hayley confessed she “was really not able to disguise [her] lesbian spirit.” She said to them, “In at the time, I wasn’t publicly gay. So during my performance with the Wizards, I felt extremely anxious about revealing my identity as a flaming lesbian.”

Selena, meantime, described her feeling “massive” weight as a young celebrity.

The young blonde stunner became famous when she appeared in ‘Barney and Friends in the early 2000s. And Selena also said that she at first found it difficult to handle the pressure.

She told in an interview, “I experienced huge pressure in childhood that I ought to act as a good example.”

“But I felt it might be simply impractical. However, I didn’t realize I was suffering in my own struggle with emotional health at that moment. My life very suddenly became extremely public.”

Murrieta asserts that it is now canonical that Alex Russo was likely bisexual. So the Stalex may belong to the most thrilling pairings to appear on Disney Channel.
