Sad news has swept the nation with the shock death of 62-year-old television presenter Dale Winton.
The TV personality, who was cherished for his naughty humour and dazzling smile, died at his home yesterday, it has been reported. The cause of death is yet to be determined.
The host, who was best known for fronting Supermarket Sweep, will be remembered fondly for the impression he made on viewers and television guests (as well as, of course, his friends and family).
Dale’s long-term agent, Jan Kennedy, announced in a statement: “It is with great sadness that we can confirm the passing of Dale Winton who died at home. While we know many will share this terrible loss, we ask that you respect the family’s privacy at this time of grief.”
