Roses from my Garden

Roses from my Garden by Nick Knight

When> 4 July – 25 October 2020, Wednesday-Sunday, 11am-5pm

Where> Coach House Gallery, the Stables, Waddesdon

Roses from my Garden by Nick Knight was originally due to open in March, however, was postponed due to the worldwide pandemic. Now, it is finally ready to open its doors and welcome the public!

“The exhibition displays the rose as an enduring symbol of beauty. Photographed on an iPhone, the digital images of roses are enlarged and filtered through software that uses AI to infill the space between pixels. The end result is a bit like photography, a bit like painting, but actually neither – it’s a new texture – the images are incredibly painterly, with beautiful washes of colour.”

“Roses from my Garden references the rich history of classical painting whilst also looking towards the exciting world of new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence” Nick Knight
