Good news for game lovers! It is being reported that Sony is planning a virtual event next week where they will showcase games for their upcoming next-gen console. Puza Snigdha reports.
According to the Bloomberg report, people who have a close connection to the matter said that the conference is scheduled for June 3 but this date may be subject to change.
A Bloomberg is also reporting that Sony is planning a PS5 conference that could be taking place as early as next week, which would align with what VB’s sources have stated.
Sony has not made any sort of official announcement regarding the PlayStation 5 reveal yet. PlayStation 5 is still on track for a holiday 2020 release.
In a statement, Sony have said: “Regarding the launch of PlayStation 5, although factors such as employees working from home and restrictions on international travel have presented some challenges in regards to the part of the testing process and the qualification of production lines, development is progressing with the launch of the console scheduled for the 2020 holiday season”.
Sony have already been announced some games for the console- Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One, Fortnite and Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla.
