Rits Ors’s second studio album, Phoenix, is scheduled to be released on 23 November. The lead single, “Your Song”, reached the UK top ten, and the subsequent singles, “Anywhere” and “Let You Love Me”, reached the top five in the UK.
Many will already have heard the singles released from it and the striking thing is that there’s no drop in quality from what’s left. It’s telling that the guests on the record, Cardi B, Charli XCX and Bebe Rexha are all representative of empowered female artists, ones who are in control of their music. That strength is an underlying theme that runs right through Phoenix making it an ideal platform to inspire and guide. Rita Ora just took it to another level.
